Premier bateau de la classe Icon, il sera le premier navire de la compagnie aliment\u00e9 au GNL. La mise en service de ce bateau de croisi\u00e8res est pr\u00e9vue pour l\u2019automne 2023. L&rsquo;armateur fait ainsi un grand pas en avant dans la conception des navires innovants \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9nergie propre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deux autres navires de la compagnie suivront le projet d\u2019alimentation au GNL . Cette conception a pour but de diminuer l\u2019empreinte carbone et am\u00e9liorer la capacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De plus, le bateau aura une connexion au r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique terrestre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0<em>Nous nous sommes engag\u00e9s \u00e0 faire de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie propre en mer une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 &#8211; et bient\u00f4t la norme &#8211; lorsque la classe Icon a \u00e9t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9e pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 2016, et nous sommes ravis de voir la construction en cours de ce qui sera vraiment un navire pas comme les autres<\/em> \u00ab\u00a0, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Michael Bayley, pr\u00e9sident et PDG de Royal Caribbean International. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0<em>Nos d\u00e9cennies de travail dans la conservation des oc\u00e9ans, l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et l&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration continue seront \u00e9videntes tout au long d&rsquo;Icon. Parmi les techniques d\u00e9j\u00e0 utilis\u00e9es, il y a notamment l\u2019optimisation de l\u2019\u00e9nergie, r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions, r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration de la chaleur et transformation en \u00e9nergie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019ensemble de ces proc\u00e9d\u00e9s, alli\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation du GNL permettra une plus grande r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions.
